Welcome to Internet Addiction Prevention Center.

The Internet and smartphones overdependence has been recognized as a social issues over personal issues According to the Korea Internet and Reliance Survey of 2017, the total number of people with over dependence is accounted to 7,860,000 (Children 576,000, Adolescents 1,523,000, Adults 5,310,000, Seniors 451,000). The overall risk group status is 18.6%(Children 19.1%, Adolescents 30.3%, Adults 17.4%, Senior 12.9%), which is very serious. In order to solve this dependence, we are responding by prevention disciplines curriculum and counseling

NIA is pursuing a variety of policies and programs to address these issues of overdependence such as preventive discipline class, home visiting counseling, and campaign through Internet Addiction Prevention Centers.

Based on experience of relieving over-dependence for over 10 years, the Internet Addiction Prevention Center will do its best to prevent and relieve over-dependence on Internet and smartphones continuously.
